New resources for practicing elder law in Wisconsin
What I’m Working On
My aim with Elder Law in Wisconsin is to create new resources for Wisconsin elder law attorneys. I started by publishing fair hearing decisions and will continue to do so. But now I am ready to create and publish more of the things I want for my own practice, such as:
- A guide to income eligibility for long-term care Medicaid;
- Calculators for patient liability and cost share;
- A quick reference to the most useful fair hearing decisions;
- A promissory note guide, calculator, and form;
- A Medicaid verification guide including form letters and instructions for clients; and
- A guide to spousal testamentary trust Medicaid planning.
These are my ideas for what to publish in the next few years. They are the things I want for my own practice. If you have any feedback or an idea of your own, I’d love to hear it. Just send me an email.
These resources are a work in progress. I am adding to them as I work on these issues in my own practice. If you’d like to stay up to date on the status of my work, subscribe to ELW Free to get my weekly email newsletter. Or if you’d like early access, feel free to subscribe to ELW Pro, though these resources will be rough and incomplete at first.
